Peter Steinbrueck

Peter Steinbrueck is a member of the Seattle City Council. First elected to the council in 1997, he is now serving his third term, which runs through 2007. Steinbrueck served as president of the council during for 2002 and 2003 and is currently (June 2004) chair of the Urban Development and Planning Committee.

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, USA, Steinbrueck is the son of a noted architect, Victor Steinbrueck, and is an architect himself.
