Richard Marshall (United States Army officer)

Richard Jacquline Marshall (1895 - August 3, 1973) was a Major General in the US Army. He served in the 1st Division during World War I and became the Chief of Staff of Army Forces in the Pacific by the end of World War II.

- July 29, 1941 -- becomes Deputy Chief of Staff Supreme Allied Headquarters
- August 8, 1942 -- promoted to Major General
- 1944 -- Deputy Chief of Staff - Army Forces in the Pacific
- 1945 -- Chief of Staff - Army Forces in the Pacific
- 1946 -- retires from the Army
- 1946 - 1952 -- Serves as superintended of the Virginia Military Institute
Burial
Marshall is buried in Section 7 of Arlington National Cemetery.
