Author Thomas Engstrom

Thomas Engstrom, (Swedish "Engström"), b. 1975, is a Swedish novelist and journalist. His third novel, West of Liberty, is due to be published in October 2013 by Albert Bonniers Förlag. The book is the first in a series of political thrillers featuring former Stasi agent and CIA freelancer Ludwig Licht. The series explores the harsh realities of today's international political landscape. As with Engstrom's earlier, critically acclaimed novels, the Ludwig Licht books are filled with a menacing, dark satire, and display a piercing eye for the human condition.

Engstrom currently lives in the south of Sweden with fellow author Gabriella Håkansson.
