Eric Johnson was born on August 17, 1954 in Austin, Texas. He's a Instrumental rock preformer like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, or Vinnie Moore. He formed his first band, The Electromagnets in 1973 and then he recorded Self-Titled in autumn 1974 and released it in and then started touring in 1975 until 1976 and then they broke up in 1977. He put out his first solo record Seven Worlds in April 1979 on his first Reprise Records album. Then later on, in 1985 until he recorded his next release for his first solo album Tones and then he released it in April 1986. Then in 1987 he quit Reprise Records and switched to Capitol Records before he recorded his next album in 1988-1989 for Ah Via Musicom and then he released it in March of 1990. His second band was Alien Love Child and formed the band in 1999 and released their first album.
