Zundert

Zundert (population: 20,272) is a town in the southern Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant. The municipality covers an area of 119.94 km² (of which 0.26 km² water).

The municipality of Zundert also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Achtmaal, Klein-Zundert, Rijsbergen, Wernhout.

Zundert is one of the most agricultural municipalities of the Netherlands. 10% of all boomkwekers (nursery-men) work in Zundert.

Zundert was expanded in 1997 with the former municipality of Rijsbergen.

Zundert is the birthplace of the famous painter Vincent van Gogh.
