Hector Ramirez (Soap Opera character)

Hector Ramirez is a fictional character in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Hector is played by actor Lorenzo Lamas.

Character

The character of Hector was introduced in 2004, when his daughter Caitlin (Kayla Ewell) was employed as an intern at Forrester Creations. It was revealed that Hector had previously been romantically involved with fashion designer Samantha Kelly (Sydney Penny), who was Caitlin's mother. After Caitlin's birth, Samantha's mother Priscilla (Linda Gray) had lied to both her daughter and Hector, telling Samantha that the child was stillborn and Hector that Samantha wanted mothing to do with Caitlin. Priscilla soon revealed all and Hector and Samantha reunited, after breaking the news to Caitlin that Samantha was her mother, who Caitlin believed had died in child birth. Hector and Sam became engaged but soon separated after an argument about Priscilla. Samantha moved to New York and Caitlin soon joined her there. Hector then set his sights on Dr. Taylor Hayes Forrester (Hunter Tylo), who was then married to Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss). The two began an adulterous liaison and were soon caught by Ridge, who then separated from Taylor. Hector is still continuing to woo Taylor.
