Bad Blood is the debut album by British rock band Bastille; it was released on March 4, 2013.[1] - During the midweek chart update, it was #1 with over 38,000 copies sold.[2] The album includes the singles "Overjoyed", "Bad Blood", "Flaws", "Pompeii" and "Laura Palmer".
Singles
"Overjoyed" is the first single released from Bad Blood, unfortunately with little amount of promotion, the single didn't chart in the UK or any other country for that matter. It has become one of the songs Bastille always perform at concerts.
"Bad Blood" became the first single to chart in the UK, yet was a commercial disappointment when it peaked in at #90 and fell out of the chart the following week.
"Flaws" became Bastille's first top 30 single in the UK, it charted in at #21 on October 28th, 2012. It also became the first single to chart in Scotland at #22 and in Belgium at #64.
"Pompeii" has become the best selling single to date, it debuted at #2, becoming the band's first top five hit. It also became Bastille's first number one single in Scotland and it's first single to chart in Ireland at #2, the single has sold over 83,000 copies in the UK to date.
"Laura Palmer" is expected to be the sixth single release from the debut album, though a release date hasn't been issued yet.
In Ireland, the album debuted at number 5 with sales of 6,943. In the UK, it's expected to debut at number 1 after selling over 38,000 copies between Monday and Wednesday.
