Clay Serby Article

I deleted the majority of the article as it was taken directly from another website.

I need your advice on my edits on Khatri article

I made some edits to the khatri article twice but they were reverted both times by Moderator3000. One was correcting a link to surname called Seth. The other was about Walias (which I linked) also being also called Ahluwalias.

Both these modifications are valid but they are being reverted both the times. I don't know if Moderator3000 is an official moderator of Wikipedia or is just doing what he seems fit.

Request for Adminship
Thank you for supporting/objecting/tropicanising me in my request for Adminship. Although I wasn't promoted to admin status, with a final vote count of 14/27/12, I am very happy with the response I received from my fellow Wikipedians. I was pleasantly suprised at the support, and was touched by it. I will also work harder on preventing disputes and boosting my edit count (which is on the up), so thank you to all your objectors. Hopefully I will re-apply soon and try again for the mop. Thanks again, Highway Rainbow Sneakers

Thanks

Dear Tawker — Thank you for your support on my recent RfA. It succeeded with a final tally of 72/2/0 and I am now an administrator. I'll be taking things slowly at first and getting used to the new tools, but please let me know if there's any adminnery I can help you with in the future. —Whouk (talk) 22:57, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Another alienproxy.com IP to block?

Hi. I've just discovered that 66.228.120.35 (talk · contribs) is now apparently registered to Alien Proxy and is therefore presumably an open proxy. (The recent contributions from that IP have been linkspam for a couple of internet radio stations.) I notice that you blocked another Alien Proxy IP address, 66.228.120.36 (talk · contribs), in April. I suggest that 66.228.120.35 be blocked as well. (I'm not sure where to report open proxies; I only picked you because you blocked the other address.) BTW, the numerically adjacent IPs (66.228.120.34 and 66.228.120.36) are not owned by Alien Proxy. Cheers, CWC(talk) 11:04, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I've discovered WP:OP and reported it there. Sorry to bother you, CWC(talk) 04:06, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use

It is pointless to argue with you, so I will not, I have wasted hours and hours and hours arguing with those who have no legal traning and interpret the law with no legal councel. I asked you to kindly do not post on my user page again, since it is not productive.

Please stop spamming talk pages, if you continue to do so you will be blocked for disruption You mean "disrupting your power and authority" and your interpretation of wikipedia. Lets define the definition correctly.Travb 14:24, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you spam!

Thank you!
Hello, Tawker — This is thankyou spam. The highest Thank you's for your support on my recent Nomination for Adminship. It succeeded with a final tally of 85/11/6 and I am now an administrator. Be sure to let me know how I can help you. Bastiqueparlervoir 18:19, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RfA Thank You!

Thanks Tawker,

I am honored by your support in my recent successful request for adminship. As an administrator, I am your servant, ready to help however I can. (In your case, since you've had the tools longer than I, my best use might be menial labor!) My talk page is always open; should you need anything, or should you see me making a mistake -- probably a common occurrence -- please do let me know. I will depend on the good sense of the community to keep me from making a complete fool of myself! :) In gratitude, Xoloz 15:26, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proxy

Hey Tawker, Could you possibly check this to see if 64.107.220.103 (talkcontribsWHOISblock userblock log) is an open proxy? Squidward seems to be using it, and he frequently uses open proxies, but sometimes he just uses public terminals. Thanks, Mak (talk) 23:23, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My tests fail to get it to proxy. It reverses to c103.triton.edu, so it's probably a university proxy. --GraemeL (talk) 23:26, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

pt:wiki

Hi. I have made a request to run the bot on wiki:pt (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Tawkerbot2/requests&diff=next&oldid=53629968), and it seems that some one else from wiki:pt did it already some time ago. Is the bot running on other wikis? Is it possible in the future to get it working on wiki:pt. We've discussed that possibility on our village pump and no one opposed to that.

Best regards. lijealso 01:23, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Guess how many times you've voted for Cowman109? :) All the best, MartinRe 10:57, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tawker, I have indented your duplicate vote on Cowman109's RFA. Hope you don't mind. Srikeit(talk ¦ ) 11:02, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

IRC? I don't know, what is that?. Let me ask someone who would. Platform? Do you mean MediaWiki? If so then the latest version. --Utopia.

Internet Relay Chat WerdnaTc@bCmLt 22:49, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I still dunno if we have one. I doubt it however. ~U
Are you saying we don't have an IRC channel? We have a couple, see WP:IRC. Mak (talk) 20:21, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No no...I mean my personal independant wiki. I don't think we have one of those, after I looked at it. Do we need it for our bot? -U

Milkshake Brothers

You seem to be abusing your "speedy deletion" privileges. Are you the morality police? Why was Milkshake Brothers deleted? scotts

I would tend to disagree. In short it was deleted because it is a dicdef and does not fit Wiktionary's inclusion criteria -- Tawker 02:59, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately that's not one of the critera for speedy deletion, nor does it fit any of the other criteria. The majority of wiki articles start as dictionary definitions. The fact that we're having this conversation furthers the point that there should have been debate before deletion. scotts 17:53, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Beth Meacham deletion

Hi -- I just added a note to the Beth Meacham talk page; if you could let me know either there or on my talk page whether you think my justification is enough, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Mike Christie 03:04, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sukh's RFA - Thanks!

Thank you for your vote on my RfA. Unfortunately there was no consensus reached at 43 support, 18 oppose and 8 neutral. I've just found out that there is a feature in "my preferences" that forces me to use edit summaries. I've now got it enabled :) Thanks again. Sukh | ਸੁਖ | Talk 15:54, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question about Tawkerbot2

This question may have been answered elsewhere but I can't seem to find it... Anyways, I've seen Tawkerbot2 give test4 warnings to users. But does it report the vandal to WP:AIV if the bot reverts vandalism from that user after a test4? Thanks, enjoy the long weekend. :) -→Buchanan-Hermit/!? 18:07, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The bot does post vandals at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism/TB2 after warnings.G.He 18:10, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RFA

Thank you, Tawker, for voting in my RFA. It closed with a final result of 75/1/0. Now that I am an administrator here, I will continue to improve this encyclopedia, using my new tools to revert vandalism, block persistent vandals, protect pages that have been vandalized intensively, and close AFD discussions. Any questions? Please contact me by adding a new section on my talk page. Again, thanks to all of you who participated!!! -- King of 23:03, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have an IRC recent changes feed

We have RSS and atom feeds. I dunno what else you mean. We don't have IRC. http://www.biosector01.com/wiki/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&feed=rss That would be our RSS feed. I hope you can work with that. ~~U

Thank-you

The count is in, and now I join the crew who wield the mops and pails.
Thanks for your support! I pledge to serve both you and Jimbo Wales.

If you have anything you need, then please don't think to hesitate.

For I am the very model of a grateful admin designate!

I love TawkerBot2

Your bot TawkerBot2 is awsome! Thanks for making it. I love how it identifies bad phrases and insults.  :)

...just sayin'. ;) -→Buchanan-Hermit/!? 05:49, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If the Oilers win, fine. At least they're not the Flames, which I'm very thankful for -- I wouldn't mind cheering for the Oilers in the Final if they make it (which I hope they don't). -→Buchanan-Hermit/!? 06:09, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
