The 2004 Summer Paralympic Games are the twelth Paralympics and they are being held in Athens, Greece.
The 800m Women's Wheelchair Race and 1500m Men's Wheelchair Race were the first competitions held for the 2004 Summer Paralympics, and occurred during the 2004 Summer Olympics as demostration sports as well.
