Christine Kane

Christine Kane is an American folk singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist based in Asheville, North Carolina. Her song "Right Outta Nowhere" (written with Steve Seskin) was covered by Kathy Mattea.

She was born in Northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. She graduated from Boston College, which is also the alma mater of singer-songwriter Ellis Paul, for whom she has opened.

Like many other singer/songwriters, Kane performs mostly at small clubs in intimate settings where she sometimes interacts with fans after performances.
