Drag: When an object is moving on the surface of the water, drag is a factor that may slow that object down. It basically pushes in the opposite direction of the moving object because water is more dense than air. When you are running underwater, you are noticeably slower than if you were running on shore. This is an example of drag. For every movement, there is an opposing force and drag is one of them.
