Ranganatha Swami temple also called Talpagiri Ranganathaswami temple is one of the oldest temples in Nellore, located on the banks of the river Penna. This temple was supposedly constructed in the 12th century.

Temple Attractions

Just before the Main entrance of the temple is a huge tower(gopuram) called gali gopuram literally meaning wind tower. This tower is nearly 70 ft height and has 10 feet gold plated vessels on the top of it called kalisams.
