Fighting Vandalism -> Wikipedia:Vandalism_in_progress
Metric SystemThe imperial system seems to be consistently used as the primary unit of measure for American- and British-based articles (though Britian should be moving to metric anyway, yes?). Metric is used elsewhere. - My observations. - CobaltBlueTony 19:01, 30 December 2005 (UTC) Re: ShaftesburyThat's OK, I hope my sarcastic edit summary didn't sound rude! Joe D (t) 05:35, 11 January 2006 (UTC) Page BlankingOn 22-Jan, you blanked Union des Etudiants Juifs de France. Blanking pages is generally considered a bad idea. Since the content has been moved, you should use a redirect in cases like this. The directions are at Wikipedia:Redirect. Thanks! -- JLaTondre 03:17, 23 January 2006 (UTC) Union des étudiants juifs de FranceNo problem - I know that translating is hard, and so is finding the right place to put a request here. You asked how to hide text by using comments: that is done by standard HTML comments, e.g. <!-- This is a comment--> will produce an invisible comment. Hope that helps, and happy editing! Kusma (討論) 14:20, 23 January 2006 (UTC) RE: MATTHEW PERRY (ACTOR)I didnt think it needed cleanup because the article made perfect sense to me. There doesnt seem to be a major cleanup required. Therefore, I think it is not neccessary for a 'cleanup'. There doesnt seem to be any information to group together anyway. Thanks. -Ladyknowledge Len BraundHi. My machine locked me out as I was editing Len Braund, which is why the version you saw ended abruptly and had stray text at the end. I've been back and completed it, with my proper author name instead of an apparent anonymous author. Johnlp 22:58, 27 January 2006 (UTC) Re: Vandalism?sholom aleihem the reason for my repeated altering of the RKKA article is due to irrelevance in provided information. The position advocated by detailed information of lend-lease supplies as opposed lack of any information about Soviet industry is not neutral by any means, but is an outburst of Cold War propaganda when both sides tried to diminish the opposing side's effort in WW2. I think that the detailed information like this belongs in a lend-lease article, not in a general article about the RKKA/Soviet Army You showed support for the Spanish Translation of the Week. This week es:Universidad Nacional de La Plata was chosen to be translated to Universidad Nacional de La Plata. (Copied from User talk:Peruvianllama): Something is wrong. It looks like a script attaching the page. My protection did not work. I am not an admin so I am not sure how to use it. Gadig 22:50, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
CMU isn't a "university" but a seminary.The article itself describes it as a seminary. However, if that's not enough, look at two of the five the degrees it offers. Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Church Ministries. Ardenn 19:19, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
University College of the North, a university?You know, that's a really good question. Most University College's I know of are associated with the University of Toronto so it is typically a non-issue. I think of it more as a psudo-University as a mix between a College and a University. Ardenn 21:56, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Olmert is the Vice Prime Minister not the Deputy Prime MinisterHello Gadig, please read the following sources. All of them are official:
I can give many more official references to the names of these positions, but I think this gets the point through. Ask me if you have any questions or concerns. Best regards, gidonb 03:15, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Canadian Mennonite UniversityIt would be appreciated if you would give your input at Talk:Canadian_Mennonite_University so we can get the ugly dispute box removed (whatever the final outcome is). OsgoodeLawyer 16:59, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Changes to vandal warning toolboxI hope you're finding the warning toolbox useful. I've made a few minor changes to it that you might want to be aware of. --Kbh3rdtalk 20:52, 14 April 2006 (UTC) Changing links in people's commentsEditing links in people's comments on talk pages is sort of questionable. I'm specifically refering to this edit: [2] You might want to consider keeping such edits to the main article pages, and let comments go. Just a thought. Happy editing. -Harmil 20:35, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for noticingI knew something was odd about Izzy Asper being an Israeli immigrant. My friend had an imput into the article and told me he was an Israeli immigrant. I should have done some research to make sure I had the right information on where he was born. Thanks for noticing the mistake. Good luck on your Computer Engineering degree. Just to be curious, I was wondering what you thought about the Asper School of Business Management program since you have a minor. I haven’t decided what I should major in, considering I start attending the University of Manitoba in September. --rolo 02:39, 8 May 2006 (UTC) Argentine groupYou are kindly invited to join the Argentine WikiProject and the Argentine regional notice board Mariano(t/c) 09:07, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Maestranza formatI put out a call on the SPATRA talk page to get some more opinions on the format we discussed here. No one else has opined yet, and though it's only been two days, I'm going to change all the instance to your suggestion until some more people chiem in (since it's half-and-half right now). I'm rushing a bit because I'm about to change the SPATRA to Siete Partidas and I don't want to close out the old translation in a sub-par state.
Mariano(t/c) 06:16, 12 May 2006 (UTC) I sent you an email with regard to a problem with your AWB settings. Just wanted to make sure you read it! --mboverload@ 06:50, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
María Martha FernándezI have been trying to sort out this nomination for deletion of this article, unfortunately the old nomination of last year was used. At first I thought it was new and written up at the wrong place, so I moved it and listed it correctly. I now realise that this old nomination cannot proceed and a new one at the correct name Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/María Martha Fernández will be needed and it will need a new entry on the relevant day's AfD page (click here to make new entry to the day's AFD page). As it was never correctly listed I have closed the original part of Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/María Martha Fernández and am informing those of you who have voted on the old page for your information and action. Thanks. --Alf melmac 11:10, 15 May 2006 (UTC) RfA thanks![]() Excellent work!!!
