The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is self described as "America's Pro-Israel Lobby": a special interest group that lobbies the US Congress on behalf of Israeli interests.

In August 2004 it was revealed that the FBI was investigating Larry Franklin for misdirecting classified information through AIPAC to Israel. Both Israel and AIPAC have denied this allegation.
