Journey of Hum Awards

HUM Network got the show on the road with a clear mission through the launch of its flagship channel, HUM TV, back in 2005. From its very first year HUM TV was acclaimed for its pristine productions, succeeding not only in becoming an internationally celebrated home-grown entertainment network but also helping to bring back a large segment of viewers that had been lost to Indian soap operas at that point in time. HUM TV became the life-breath of a dying industry, universally hailed for the revival of television drama industry as we once knew it.

Amidst premier blockbusters such as Man-o-Salwa, JhumkaJaan, Manay Na Ye Dil, Khamoshiyan, Mere Pass Pass, Aashti, Qaid-e-Tanhai, Noor Pur Ki Rani, Tair-e-Lahoti, Dastaan, Mere Qatil Mere Dildar, Pani Jaisa Pyar, Maat, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, and Humsafar Hum TV brought home the fact that Pakistani dramas have not lost their poignancy and appeal, and today, it stands as the undisputed flag-bearer of the local television industry.

With an aspiration to honor excellence, Servis 1st HUM Awards has been launched. As we ascend the path of entertainment glory, we desire to acknowledge and honor our companions through this odyssey to celebrate all those who have been a part of our eight-year long journey of success. We also salute the contribution of fashion and music as both these genres have always been indispensible part of any dramatic presentation and our screen.[2]
