Hi Aubin,
The article at Nicholas Stern (Titan Eagle) was deleted according to our deletion policy, and if it's re-created, it will be deleted again. If you want to change that, you may ask for the article to be un-deleted at Wikipedia:Votes for undeletion. Eugene van der Pijll 20:30, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
As the page is deleted again now, how is it that I can place it under a vote for un-deletion when there is no page to un-delete? Aubin
- Although the page is deleted, the content is not really gone. Administrators can still recover the text of the deleted page. So you can just tell the undeletion people the title of the page, and if they decide to undelete it, the article will be restored. Eugene van der Pijll 20:44, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Thank you Eugene. Aubin 21:06, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Googling
Yes — though I don't deny that Googling (especially if supplemented by other search engines) can provide part of the picture, I'm amazed that some people think that it says all that needs to be said. It's as if they think that there's no world outside the Internet (I don't know — maybe they do think that). Another problem, though, is the double standards that operate here; only articles on people have to jump the very high "notability" hurdle. I've been doing my little bit to argue against that; perhaps eventually it will change. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 14:04, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Image Tagging Image:Cotten.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cotten.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairusein|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by going to "Your contributions" from your user page and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. Thanks for uploading Image:63985786 l.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stan 14:05, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Oxes
Hi there - yes, I know OXES was not finished. There was another Wikipedian who requested it to be speedily deleted, which I declined. Just keep working on the article. If the article gets deleted by the AfD, I'll undelete it for you and put it as a subpage of your userspace so you can work on it a bit more before moving it back into the main namespace. However, I think it is pretty hard to find information about the group, but we'll see. --HappyCamper 20:11, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
