Jerome Gray is a popular singer based in Western Samoa and also the writer of the unofficial national anthem "We Are Samoa" [1]

Biographical

Jerome Gray is a veteran musician based in Samoa. The song he wrote, "We are Samoa" proved to be highly popular and became an unofficial national anthem for the country. Among the musicians he has worked with are The Ava Band, Harry Miller and a very young Gary King.[2] He has released recordings on the Hibiscus Records label and also Reminisce Records.

He currently leads The Jerome Grey Trio.[3]

His son Tini Grey is also a musician.[4]
