- Info - I'm too lazy to type a real description, so refer to my userboxes. Even more to come! I'm
currentlyalways revamping this page, so yeah. I make a comic called SDRT! It's pretty dumb. You can find the link above. I'm currently a student at the Luxembourg University of Magic, which is a fine institution of magicness.
- Topics I'm Interested In - As you can see, I mainly edit articles about video games (although I edit random articles for grammar occasionally). All of my created articles are about video games (usually obscure ones). I mostly play RPGs (my main area of expertise), shmups (I'm currently getting more into these), and music games (my current obsession - well, IIDX anyway), but I possess a wide range of knowledge about pretty much anything relating to video games. I'll accept any sort of request on games/genres I enjoy, which is a fair deal of them (but I can't guarantee I'll finish them within any sort of reasonable time frame, heh).
- Templates - Useful templates for use in making pages. Well, a template, anyway.
- Current Projects - Stuff I'm currently working on. This is different from my "to-do" list in that I'm actually working on these things.
Articles I've Created or Contributed to Significantly
Starting with the most recent...
beatmania IIDX - I cleaned this article up a lot and added a few sections. 5/12/06
Growlanser Generations - Article about US release of Growlanser II & III. Kil says this is a stub, but I disagree. 5/3/06
Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny - I wrote the gameplay and story sections and elevated this article from stub status. I also fixed some header info. I might edit the characters section later. 5/2/06
iFUTURELIST - This album is pretty good, but I've listened to it too much. Oh well. Somebody keeps romanizing the tracklist. I wish they would stop. 1/20/06
Akira Yamaoka - Added some discography info. 1/19/06
Sting - Made a stub out of boredom. 1/12/06
List of PS2 CD-ROM Games - I made the original list. 10/13/05
Treasure Hunter G - This game has cool music. Just ask Kil. I need to go back and finish this article, because it's still a stub. - 10/11/05
Wild ARMs 2 - I wrote a lot about this game. It's quite cool. Probably the biggest article I've written. 10/11/05
List of PlayStation game music - Noticed it was linked from Video game music, but had no page. I made one. 10/10/05
Legend of Mana - The grammar on this page was pretty terrible, so I rewrote most of it. - 10/10/05
Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius - Somebody used my template for this to make articles for the other Parodius games. Cool, I guess. 9/05
Tenpei Sato - He's a fairly underrated VGM composer, in my opinion. His old stuff sucks horribly though. 9/05
Madou Monogatari: Hanamaru Dai Youchienji - I felt like making an article about something Gideon Zhi had translated. Maybe I'll make some more. 9/05
Beyond the Beyond - This is the worst game I've ever played. Naturally, I had to make an article for it. 9/05
Flash Flash Revolution - Wrote the whole thing a while ago. No one's really changed that much since. 04
Sharpnel Sound - Apparently I made this a long time ago and forgot about it. Oh well. Just a stub. 04
To Do
This section has a lot of stuff. Maybe I'll finish it all some day.
Tōhō - This page is in desperate need of cleanup. All of the Windows games need their own pages; currently, they're shoehorned into the main article and the articles themselves redirect there. Also: Learn how to type those %C5%8 thingies.
Phantasmagoria of Flower View - See above.
Imperishable Night - See above.
Perfect Cherry Blossom - See above.
Embodiment of Scarlet Devil - See above.
Template:User_IIDX - IIDX userbox.
Template:User_Bemani - Bemani userbox.
Evolution Worlds - Whole article. Somebody totally screwed this page up with some pretty terrible character synopses, so I need to clean those up too.
Digital Devil Saga and Digital Devil Saga 2 - I need to rewrite these. They're both pretty bad articles; they suffer from the usual huge characters section full of irrelevant info with nothing else on the page syndrome. I don't know whether to prefix them with "Shin Megami Tensei" or not, as it was only added for the USA releases to connect them with Nocturne more. These are the best RPGs for the PS2, so they need good articles.
Wild ARMs 3 - Total writeup ala WA2. May or may not ever happen. It looks like somebody started an article using the style of my WA2 one here, so that should make writing it somewhat easier, since the template is there.
Wild ARMs 4 - See above. I was pretty surprised at how good this game was. I was also surprised at how bad the current article for this was.
Super Earth Defense Force - I'll let Kil handle this one.
Growlanser II - Whole article. I don't like this one nearly as much as III, so it might be a while.
Growlanser III - Whole article. Fantastic game; more people need to play it.
Growlanser (series) - Pretty good series of games that almost no one in the US has played.
Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure - Whole article; basic info, full writeup once I play it again. This game is total garbage, so I'm finding it hard to care enough to write an article about it. Oh well, it's NIS.
Atlus - Needs a comprehensive list of games Atlus have developed and published in Japan. Unfortunately, the MegaTen series has upwards of 70 games, so I doubt I'll finish this anytime soon. I rewrote some of the article to sound better, as well.
Metal Saga - This game looks pretty cool. Once I play it, I'll write an article, if it is indeed cool. I went ahead and made an infobox for it, in any case.
Devil Summoner III : Kuzunoha Raidou - MegaTen.
Stuff
- The Japanese Wikipedia Xenogears page at http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ゼノギアス looks much better than the English one. It's a lot longer and seems to have more relevant info. Maybe someone could translate it...? The current Xenogears page is pretty bad, and all of the related pages are full of horrible fancruft.
- Most of the video game articles on Wikipedia in general are poorly written and full of fancruft, irrelevant junk added by fans that doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. The grammar and sentence structure also tends to be deplorable. I'm looking to make my own Wiki specifically dealing with video games, as I don't think Wikipedia's CVG section will ever be cleaned up, unfortunately. I wonder if I'll ever get around to this?
