Bill (Kill Bill)
Bill (played by David Carradine) is the character for whom the movie Kill Bill is named for and is the leader of The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad.
Deeply saddened by the apparant murder of one of his assassination agents Beatrix "Black Mamba" Kiddo, also called "The Bride" (played by Uma Thurman), Bill personally seeks out her killers only to find that she is still very much alive, trying to clear her past, trying to start a new life and pregnant with a child.
Bill confronts Kiddo at her wedding rehearsal and acts nonchallant as they both discuss their past. When Kiddo's soon-to-be husband confronts Bill, Kiddo covers for Bill by saying he is her father.
Bill wishes Kiddo the best of luck as he moves to the Bride's side of the wedding chapel. At the same time, the remainder of his assassin squad moves in from outside and massacres the entire wedding party. Bill notices Kiddo is still alive, but moves in to deliver a final speech concluded by a gunshot to Kiddo's head. Before Kiddo is shot, she mutters that Bill is the father of her unborn child.
Kiddo miraculously survives the ordeal but falls into a coma for four years. When she awakens, she assumes that her baby was lost because of her traumatic ordeal. Kiddo then proceeds to hunt down and kill the remaining assassins of the DiVAS squad... except for Bill.
In a final confrontation, Kiddo storms in on Bill expecting to find him alone, but lying beside Bill is her daughter, now four years old, pretending to shoot Kiddo with a plastic gun. Sending her to bed, Bill and Kiddo discuss events and decide to settle "unfinished business". In the short final battle, Kiddo delivers a fatal blow to Bill's chest and takes their child from him.
