Kakashi Hatake
Hatake Kakashi (カカシ Kakashi), also known as 'the Copy Ninja Kakashi', is a fictional character in the anime and manga Naruto.
Kakashi is a Jônin assigned to look after and train Haruno Sakura, Uchiha Sasuke, and Uzumaki Naruto. Kakashi has memorized over 1000 jutsus, all of which are very impressive, by using his Sharingan; however, because he is not a member of the Uchiha clan, it seems to have been attached in an operation - there is a scar over it, and normally the Sharingan affects both eyes, not just one.
Kakashi is a rival of Maito Gai, and according to Guy currently has a record of 49 wins and 50 losses against him. It should be noted that A. It is hinted that many of those "wins" and "losses" were in games of Rock, Paper, Scissors, and B. Guy is primarily strong in Taijutsu, which acts as the most powerful counter for the Sharingan.
Kakashi is an avid reader of the book "Make-Out Paradise", a romance novel authored by Jiraiya. The surname "Hatake" means "farmland" and "Kakashi" means "a scarecrow".
