Bačka Palanka (Serbian: Бачка Паланка or Bačka Palanka; Slovak: Báčska Palanka; Croatian: Bačka Palanka; Hungarian: Bácspalánka; German: Plankenburg) is a city located in Serbia at 45.25° North, 19.39° East. Its name means "A town in Bačka" in Serbian. In 2002 the city had a total population of 29,431, while Bačka Palanka municipality had 60,938 inhabitants.
