All Is Well is an upcoming Bollywood Romantic drama film starring Abhishek Bachchan and Asin Thottumkal in lead roles.[4] The film is being directed by Umesh Shukla.[5] The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film is expected to be released on 1 August 2014.
Casting
Rishi Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan have been cast as father and son. There was much speculation as to the female lead, with Asin, Kareena Kapoor and Diana Penty being rumoured to have been approached;[6] Asin was eventually signed on to play an "important dramatic role" alongside Bachchan.[7][8]
Filming
Following the two week workshop from October 1 involving lead actors Asin and Abhishek Bachchan,[9] the shooting of the film began on the auspicious Eid on 16 October 2013 which was confirmed by Abhishek Bachchan on twitter.[10] The director of the film Umesh Shukla is shooting the film in Himachal, Pradesh, Sikkim, Dubai & London and is expected to shoot in different cities in India.[11][12] The shooting is expected to finish in May 2014 as Abhishek Bachchan has to start working on his film Dostana 2.[13][14]
Development
Director Umesh Shukla spotted many locations for filming in Dubai and in different cities in India.[15] And after location was fixed, the whole team including the lead actors Abhishek Bachchan and Asin were part of a workshop to prepare shooting for the film. In an interview director Umesh Shukla said: "Asin and Abhishek both will be seen in different kinds of roles (never seen before) and he said that the audience will really love their new looks and characters."[16]
