Hi! I'm a 20 year old college student based in eastern Pennsylvania. I go to Colby College in Waterville, Maine. I'm currently interning at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in DC. I'm a recent Wikipedian and have just begun spending a lot of time editing and discussing edits. If you delete what I wrote, please tell me WHY, so I can learn!

First, Bias:

My philosophy is this: Love, and Work.

I believe that it is love that makes life worth living, and work that ensures long-term satisfaction and progress in life.

I believe that the importance of Love can be proven through reason. In the words of Richard Wagner:

From wisdom, understanding. From understanding, compassion. From compassion, love.

I agree with much of the ethical methods of Jesus Christ and John Stuart Mill: I try to love each new individual, come to policy conclusions through weighing long-term costs and benefits, and believe in the inherent equality of all people on an abstract level.

The above are my biases.

Second, Interests:

My interests include sociology, morality, history, politics, atheism, Jesus Christ, Christianity, justice, all creative art, music, opera, Confucius, and learning, always. I also like to write journalism and fiction in my free time, and I like some japanese art works. My favorite art works are:

  • Tannhäuser (opera) ...The lovability of every conflicted, failing human is expounded, in a beautiful way.
  • Final Fantasy VII (computer rpg)...The same.
  • Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (manga/anime OVA)...I feel it expounds the ideal of Love beautifully, as well as the Shinto ideal of sacred, beautiful, mysterious nature.
  • Thief: The Dark Project (computer FPS)...expounds a political & religious skepticism (Garret) with a love for the beauty of darkness and imagination (Woodsie) and a good morality & disciple (Hammerite).

I will always stick to the ideal of love first and work second, but I greatly want to improve my knowledge, behavior, and skills through learning. So, please, leave a message if you have ANY questions, comments, or criticisms at all.

Third, Projects:

I need to continue adding to the following articles:
