Melyssa Ford

Melyssa Savannah Ford (born November 7, 1976 in Toronto, Ontario) is a model and actress of West Indian descent. She attended York University and studied forensic psychology.
Melyssa's father is West Indian (Black) & her mother is Russian and Norwegian (White).
Music director Little X discovered Melyssa at a Toronto nightclub and helped her launch her modeling career. She has been in several music videos, magazines such as XXL and King Magazine and television and film appearances. In March 2004, she hosted BET's How I'm Livin' series, and is currently the host of BET's lifestyle show entitled BET Style.
She writes a monthly advice column for Smooth magazine and has a successful line of calendars and DVDs.
