Access

Because of Maynard Lake's desolation, there is only one way to access during the summer, by air. This service is offered by Walston Air Service Based in Kenora, Ontario. During the winter you can take logging roads up part way and then drive accross the iced lakes.

The Lake

The Lake has many areas including the Main lake, Stove cove, Jackfish Bay, Segal Rock, The River, The Outpost, The Fingers, The Memorial, North Bay, and South Bay.

The Lodge

Maynard Lake Lodge is basicaly a resort located on the lakeside. It has about 10 Cabins plus the lodge. It has a private chef, and a full staff (including dock staff). People go there to catch a lot of fish, and they almost always will. For offical updated information on Maynard Lake Lodge see the Maynard Lake Lodge website.
