Since its inception in the mid 700s, Islam has had a complicated relationship with Judaism.

Early relationship between Islam and Judaism

This section can discuss the relationship between Islam and Judaism during Islam's formative years.

The Golden Age

This section will discuss the relationship between Jews and Muslims in the "golden age" of Jewish-Muslim relations is medieval Spain.

Interplay between Jeiwsh and Muslim philosophy

There was a great deal of intellectual cross-fertilization between the Muslim and Jewish rationalist philosophers of the medieval era. More on this topic should be written here, and linked when appropriate to the sections on Jewish philosophy and Early Muslim philosophy.

Post-Zionism relations

This section will discuss the relationship between Jews and Muslims since the creation of the State of Israel. This section will not be about the Arab-Israeli conflict or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; those subjects have their own entries.
