Réseaux IP Européens is a collaborative forum open to all parties interested in wide area IP networks. The objective of RIPE is to ensure the administrative and technical coordination necessary to enable the operation of the Internet within the RIPE region. RIPE activities take the form of discussions on the working groups mailing lists and periodical meetings.

The RIPE Network Coordination Centre is the Regional Internet Registry for Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and African countries located north of the equator.
