James Laughlin

James Laughling was the son of Henry Hughart and Marjory Rea Laughlin. Poet, publisher, and man of letters. He won the 1992 Distinguished Contribution to American Letters Award from the Natinal Book Awards Program. Founder of the publishing company New Directions (1936).
