Amjad Farooqi

Amjad Hussain Farooqi is a Pakistani militant, suspected of terrorism.

Farooqi has been accused of conspiring in the death of Daniel Pearl and the assassination attempts on Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf on December 14 and December 25 2003 in Rawalpindi. Farooqi was largely considered the mastermind of these attempts.

Farooqi was reported killed in Nawab Shah, Pakistan on September 26, 2004 by Pakistani security agents for masterminding the 2003 assassination attempts on Musharraf.
