Michael Ian Black is an American actor, writer and talk show host. He began his career as a membery of the comedy group The State and was featured on the television show by the same name. He continued working with the group on the show Viva Variety and in the film Wet Hot American Summer. In September of 2004 he took over for Craig Kilbourne as host of The Late Late Show.
