Talk:Cho Chang
Appearance
For clarification. First of all, Cho Chang is a Chinese name. It is not Japanese nor Korean nor something else. Second, because it is not Japanese name nor Japanese word, it is meaningless that what does it mean in Japanese. For example, a English word sigh means in Japanese a difference, rhinoceros or die but so what? -- Taku 03:00 Jan 27, 2003 (UTC)
- Since the link to the etymology page was only put in to clarify the etymology of Cho Chang's name, and since it now appears that the etymology it gives is incorrect, can anyone suggest a reason for having the link in the article at all? I agree with Taku's original move of taking it out altogether. -- Oliver PEREIRA 18:13 Jan 27, 2003 (UTC)
- The explanation in the link is ridiculous. Chochang can mean the souce for row fish in Korean. I agree to the removal 100%. soax 18:26 Jan 27, 2003 (UTC)
