Your post on the Reference Desk

I have requested for your post to be administratively removed, since you listed a person's full address, social security number, and lots of other personal information. You might try contacting the school directly, or asking the state. Alternatively, you might re-post your question to the reference desk, omitting the personal information. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Jesus movement. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. SteinbDJ 00:36, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Regarding Martin Luther King, Jr.: Thanks for your contribution, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and NPOV. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the Sandbox to get started. I hope you can help us out! --M@rēino 18:54, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

May 2006 I have two ISPs. (I'm in the midst of changing over). Neither ISP is AOL. (They are AT&T and Netscape). I don't think that my IP address can be the same with these two ISPs, and neither matches AOL. I have not attempted to update any of the articles mentioned in the set of messages above. When I accessed Wikipedia via Internet Explorer I did not get a notification of messages waiting for me. When I used the same URL with Firefox, I got no such messages. I went back to IE, and again received the notifiction. I'm not asking for help here, but am rather trying to tell other users that these messages are not targeted to them. (In general that is, except for the actual vandals.)

Your edit to Sukhoi Su-27

Wikipedia is not a collection of merely verifiable facts: facts in Wikipedia must also be notable. As such, very few aircraft appearances in media warrant a special mention. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Aircraft/page_content#Popular_culture for guidelines. Thank you for contributing. - Emt147 Burninate! 07:09, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
