Jerz's EL236 Test Area (Friday, 1 Oct, 2004)
Click the word "edit" to the right of the title just above, in order to open the editing view.
This is a test area for "Writing for the Internet" at Seton Hill University.
Here are a few links. It's very simple to make links to Wiki pages.
If the Wiki page does not exist, the link is red. Rainbow Hector You can create a page simply by clicking on a red link. (Please don't create a Rainbow Hector encyclopedia entry -- the world is not ready for that yet.)
Since everyone in the class will be editing the same page, there may be errors when we "Save page", so for now, just click "Show preview" in order to see your work.
In the space below, create a few links -- just put two square brackets around a word, and then push "Show preview".
(Try to "Save page" and see what happens... if you get a message that says your changes can't be saved because somebody else is editing this page, don't worry about it.)
Now go back to the class web page for the next part of the tutorial.

So am I able to just write text in here and then it appears? Digital technology is nearing the ease and convenience of pencil and paper.
The power of the Edit compels you! Thank you Wikimedia for your amazing services!
