Beyond (band)
Beyond is a very famous alternative rock band in Hong Kong, founded in 1980s. Their songs were known for their memorable melodies and especially the soulful vocals by lead vocalist Wong Ka Kui. Among their songs, there are messages of human rights, politics, peace, and protests, all combined with the band's musical talents to reach out to the listeners.

In 1993, Wong Ka Kui passed away after falling 3 meters in a game show in Japan. He was only 31 years of age at the time of his tragic death.
Currently the band has split up with each previous member pursuing his own solo careers.
