My knowledge base consists of trading, mainstream and alternative medicine, nutrition, international cuisine, gardening, and pottery. I am fluent in English and French. In order for me to determine the worthiness of Wikipedia, I read articles about the topics of which I am familiar, and decided that the topics were covered well. I started to make minor edits when reading Wikipedia articles for my own research as an non-logged-in user, and then decided to open an user account--so a very gradual embracing of wikipediadom.
I am now focusing on the guidelines provided for deepening my Wikipedian involvement.
