Bamburgh is a small town on the coast of Northumberland, England.

It is famous for two things: its imposing castle, at present owned by the Armstrong family (see William George Armstrong); and its association with the Victorian heroine, Grace Darling.

For these reasons, and for its extensive sandy beach, Bamburgh is popular with holidaymakers.
