Matt McKay
Matthew McKay (born January 11, 1983 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a left midfielder. He currently plays for the Incheon United in the Korean K-League, on loan from Queensland Roar.
Matt attended Brisbane Grammar School, a high school with a high pedigree in producing Football players. Under the guidance of former Australian international Mark Brusasco, Matt's footballing tallents nurtured at the school. In Year 10 he was already in the school 1st team, and eventually winning the prestigious treble of GPS Championships, Ulhsport Cup and Southern Skies Tournament in Year 12.
As the schools old boy, he presented the football jerseys to the schools 1st team players, starting a new tradition in the school which involves succesful old boys presenting the jerseys to the present players in the school. The current 1st team includes promising youngsters such as the the lightening David Rowley, the skillful Stuart Sommervile, the no-nonsense Bernie Wu and the cunning Michael Boyd (Choppers). All these players will be hoping to emulate the achievements of Matt Mckay.
He represented Australia in the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.
