Southeast High School (Bradenton, Florida)

Southeast High School, located in Bradenton, Fl near the Tropicana factory, is a public high school in Manatee County. The school mascot is the Seminole and the school colors are blue and orange, while it's secondary colors are gray and white. It was founded in the 1950s and was originally an all-girls school. The current principle is Michael Horne.
They have an active and fully accredited International Baccalaureate program, which is a worldwide-recognized institute known for its advanced classes. The school also participates in sports such as football (Class 4A - District 9), men and women's basketball, volleyball, track, golf, and swimming.
- In May 2006 Newsweek placed Southeast at no. 314 of the 320 top high schools in the country. Current and former students are in disbelief. [1]
Notable Alumni
- Peter Warrick, a professional wide receiver for the NFL's Seattle Seahawks.
- Adrian McPherson, who was the subject of controversey at Florida State University in 2003. He is now a quarterbaback for the New Orleans Saints.
