The 51st State
The 51st State is a 2001 film directed by Ronny Yu, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Carlyle. Most of the filming was done on location in Liverpool.
The title refers partly to the idea of the United Kingdom becoming the 51st state of the United States, although this is not a central point of the film.
