Bhadravati is around 20 kms from Shimoga, Karnataka state, India. Bhadravati is also known as steel town as there is one huge steel factory here.

Bhadravati Laxmi-Narasimha temple is a 13th century temple dedicated to Narasimha (incarnation of Lord Vishnu). The temple is located in the heart of the city.
