List of characters in G.I. Joe

This artical is being created to provide a list of every single GiJoe character, and information about them. This includes what episodes and comic books they appeared in and when their toy came out. For copyright reasons, I don't believe I can copy all the interesting bios from the back of the packages the toys come in.

Snake Eyes is the silent ninja character, whose face was horribly disfigured in a car accident, and who is unable to speak. He gained a pet timber wolf named Timber in one of the first GiJoe television series. His long time enemy was Stormshadow, who in the original comic book series eventually switched sides, and got an upgrade to his uniform.

Duke was the GiJoe leader in teh first few episodes.

General Hawk was their overall leader in later episodes.

Scarlet was a strong female character. She had a crush on Snake Eyes. She had a crossbow as a weapon.

Lt. Flint had an ongoing romatic interaction with Lady J in the cartoon series.

Lady J fired a bow and arrows for her weapons.

Jinx is a ninja girl who is said to cause bad luck.

Cobra Commander is the leader of Cobra, the evil organization trying to rule the world. He was killed off in the comic book series after finally deciding he had wasted his life on foolish goals, and announcing he was going to retire. An inventor with him at the time, shot him for this, and then put on the suit of armor he had made for him, to take his place.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zartan Zartan was an agent of Cobra, and a master of disguise. He could blend in with the walls to hide himself. His action figure, as well as his brother Zandar and sister Zartana, would turn blue in sunlight. He was leader of the Dreadnoks.
