Interventions + Lullabies is the first album and second release by American rock duo The Format. It was released on October 21, 2003 through Elektra Records. While the album is considered to be highly radio friendly, it did not have any hit singles. This is largely due to the absorption of Elektra Records into Warner Bros. Records and Atlantic Records, around the time of the album's release. The collapse of Elektra led to the mainstream failure of this album and two years of label troubles for the band.

A 3:54 radio edit of "The First Single" was released (titled "The First Single (You Know Me)") as the album's only official single. However, "The First Single," "Give It Up" and "Tune Out" all experienced a great deal of success in The Format's home town of Phoenix on local rock station KEDJ.
