Characters
Main Characters
Maggie Pesky is a fly who is interested in the latest music. She lives in the city of Stickyfeet with her family and best friend, Rayna. Her life somewhat crazy, which is how she likes it. She plays the guitar and dreams of being a famous rock star. She is the second of four children.
Aldrin Pesky is Maggie's older brother, a talented but vain jock that is well-liked at school. He can be very self-centered but when times get tough, he'll stick by his family. Aldrin works part-time at a fast foint joint called the "Buzz Burger" and is rumored to date Dawn Swatworthy. He is the first of four children. His name is a pun on astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
Pupert Pesky is Maggie's little brother. He has all of Aldrin's desires, but none of his athleticism. But with help from Maggie, he always ends up shining. Pupert is an expert at having fun and has a big sweet tooth. He is also a pretty good photographer, but it can be said that his real specialty is tattling. He is the third of four children.
Bella Pesky is the adorable baby of the family and admires her sister greatly. Although she can't talk yet, she has other talents- including juggling and breakdancing. She is seldom far from her mother's watchful eye. She is the fourth of four children.
Chauncy Pesky is the father of Aldrin, Maggie, Pupert, and Bella. He believes in "tough love" when it comes to parenting. As a child he used to write in a journal peppered with out-dated 70's slang.
Frieda Pesky is the mother of Aldrin, Maggie, Pupert, and Bella. She is patient and level-headed and seems to enjoy shopping a great deal. Her brother (known as Uncle Zeb to the family) owns a bacteria ranch.
Rayna Cartfly is Maggie's best friend. She is a sassy drummer who often points out the flaws in Maggie's logic, but goes along for the ride anyway.

Trivia
- Its theme song, "Just the Way I Am", is performed by Skye Sweetnam.
- The show is animated in Macromedia Flash.
- In the episode "Le Termite", there is a termite restaurant that serves a dish made of a miniature wooden model of a house that is modeled after Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
- When the show's animators learned the series would not be renewed for another season, they incorporated an easter egg in the series finale episode, "Roach Hotel". The final shot of the show (and the series) ends with Maggie waving goodbye directly to the camera before the iris out.
- On July 15, 2006, Disney sold the Buzz on Maggie license to DiC Entertainment.
- In the episode The Usual Insects, after the alarm is tripped in the permanent record room, Maggie tells them to escape, but Rayna tells her it's can't be done, to which Maggie answers "Fly, you fools!". That is Gandalf's line after the Balrog broke the bridge, in the Bridge of Khazad-dûm.
