Macromedia Studio is a suite of different programs destined for web use created and distributed by Macromedia, until the comapny and therefore all its intellectual property was aquired by Adobe Systems.

The most recent version of Macromedia Studio 8. As described on the Macromedia website: Macromedia Studio 8 is the must-have suite for start-to-finish design, development and maintenance of websites, applications, games, interactive presentations, and mobile content." [1]

The current version of the suite includes the software listed in the Macromedia Studio 8 table below. Versions up through MX 2004 included Dreamweaver, Flash, Freehand, and Fireworks.

  • Macromedia Studio MX 2004 (released 2003, despite its name; internally, version 7)
