John Singleton OA is an Australian entrepreneur. He was educated at Fort Street High School, New South Wales.

Singleton, known as "Singo", founded the organisation "John Singleton Advertising" early in his career (now known as Singleton Ogilvy & Mather), which helped him rise up the ranks of Australian wealth.

Today Singleton is listed in Business Review Weekly's Rich 200 list, and his investments range from radio (being the majority shareholder in the Macquarie Radio Network), horse-racing training and publishing.

He is well known as a 'larrakin' in Australia for his love of good times, evident in him buying drinks for the entire Rosehill racecourse in Sydney after his horse won the prestigious Golden Slipper.

Also the mastermind behind the expensive Qantas commercials featuring children choirs singing all over the globe, he called CEO Geoff Dixon one Christmas day to propose the idea.

He was awarded the Order of Australia in 1994 for his fundraising activities for charities and is married to Julie Singleton (nee Martin).

He also despises the big fat heap, Darryl Brohman
