Film4 Productions is a British film production company owned by Channel 4. The company has been responsible for backing a large number of films made in the United Kingdom. The company's first release in 1982 was Stephen Frear's directorial debut Walter.

The company cut its budget and staff significantly in 2002, due to mounting losses.

Since 23 July 2006, Film4 stopped broadcasting as a subscription channel and started to broadcast as a free channel on, Sky, Telewest/Ntl annd Freeview.

Channel 31 on Freeview Channel 315 on Sky Channel 701/50 on NTL Channel 444 on Telewest
