Veran

Veran is the antagonist in the video game The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. She is "The Sorceress of Shadows" and has the ability to possess people (including Impa, Nayru, and Queen Ambi). Once she took control of Nayru, she messed about the timestream and, when Nayru was freed, Veran managed to take control of Queen Ambi and fled to the newly built Black Tower. In the final battle with Link, Veran transformed into a fairy-like being and then finally reverted into her true form: a hideous, insectoid beast. She was eventually defeated, though not before she lit the Flame of Sorrow, one of the three flames needed by Twinrova to revive Ganon.

Veran appears as an attractive, teal skinned human female. When in control of another, her host's skin turns the same color as hers is normally. She also commonly assumes the form of a black fireball with glowing eyes. She apperently has very potent shape-shifting powers as well. She is skilled in using magic, giving her hosts her own abilities. But she is seen as fairly physically frail, making her almost opposite of her other-dimentional counterpart, Onox
