GAUZE is the first full-length album by the J-Rock group Dir en grey released in 1999. GAUZE is the first album released by the band on a major label. The album is structured around five tracks that were produced by Yoshiki, all of which were released earlier as singles.

  • "蜜と唾" ("MITSU TO TSUBA") literally means "honey and saliva"; though the kanji are written in reverse on the packaging, and thus transliterate as TSUMI TO BATSU; literally "crime and punishment". This oddity is generally regarded as wordplay by Kyo and the latter is considered the correct translation.
