Hello everyone. My name's Richard and I'm from the town of Guisborough. I did a degree in mathematics at the University of Leeds and now I'm studying for a Master's in the same at McMaster University, which is in Hamilton, Ontario.

For those wondering about my nickname, Bagpuss was one of my favourite TV shows when I was younger. After a while I graduated onto Doctor Who. These days I tend to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scrubs and The Simpsons, though when I'm back home there's a lot of other series I enjoy.
