Leif Garrett (born November 8, 1961) was an American singer and teen idol, born in Hollywood, California.

In 1976 Garrett signed with Atlantic Records, with which he recorded his first album, Self-Titled. It was released in the following year.

In mid-1978 he quit Atlantic Records after releasing Can't Explain and signed to Scotti Bros for Feel the Need. Other Scotti Bros albums include Same Goes for You (1980) and My Movie of You (1981).
